Julia, daughter of Maxwell and Lucinda (Parten) Stone, came to Oklahoma as a child. She married Melvin Hubert Hutchinson on November 28, 1917. They moved to Deming, New Mexico after Melvin became ill related to his service in WWI. After he died in 1930, Julia remained in New Mexico until her death in 1986. Know affectionately by her family as "Hutchie"
