Mrs. Albertina Voss, 83, widow of the late Louis Voss, died Monday evening at the town of Meeme, Manitowoc County, farm home of her son, Alvin, about two miles northwest of Ada. The former Albertina Schwalenberg, she was born March 15, 1873, a daughter of the late Herman and Katherine Raeder Schwalenberg. She was married to Mrs. Voss, Nov. 29, 1894, following which the couple operated the Voss homestead farm until her husband's death in January, 1921. Mrs. Voss was a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of Bethel Evangelical and Reformed Church, town of Herman.
Surviving, in addition to the son, Alvin, are two other sons, Harvey, Manitowoc, and Melvin, town of Sheboygan Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Emil Dirks (Amanda) and Mrs. Reinhold Roethel (Ida), both of the town of Meeme, Mrs. Alvin Zimmermann (Norma), Town of Rhine, and Mrs. Edward Mahlich (Bertha) town of Schleswig; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ida Arnold, Kiel, and Mrs. Herman Zill, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by three children.
Services will be held at Bethel Evangelical and Reformed Church, Herman, with the Rev. Lloyd Weber, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
