John Tucker Clark , 85
years old, Joplin resident thirty-
five years, died at 2:15 o'clock yest-
erday afternoon at his home , 2229
Harlem avenue, following a long
illness. He was born April 13, 1849,
in Logan county, Kentucky. Surv-
iving are four sons, J. T. M. Clark,
at home, R. M. Clark of San Benito,
Tex., C. A. Clark of Los Angeles
and S. B. Clark of Pontiac, Mich.;
two daughters, Mrs. Daisy O'Neill
of Los Angeles and Mrs. Sacca
Bishop of Jane, Mo.; thirteen
grandchildren and twenty-two
great-grandchildren. Funeral servi-
ces will be conducted at 1:30
o'clock this afternoon at the resid-
ence. Mrs. Cora Russell, Mrs.
Delia Wheeler, Mrs. Hattie Nellis
and Mrs. Ida Oren will sing. Buri-
al will be in Fairview cemetery.
