Daniel Burkett, aged 70 years, one of the oldest citizens of Jefferson twp, died this morning at the family residence after five weeks' illness of heart trouble. The deceased is survived by a wife and four daughters. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Crooked Creek church. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
