Ethel May McIntyre, 97, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, at her Imboden residence.

She was born Aug. 7, 1913, in Imboden, to the late James Lewis Fitzgerald and the late Ethel Arminta (Farley) Fitzgerald.

On Aug. 9, 1935, she married Paul McIntyre, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by a son, James McIntyre; a grandson, Eric Wayne McIntyre; two infant grandchildren; four brothers, George, Lemuel, Kenneth and Bill Fitzgerald; and a sister, Mary Robison.

Surviving are three sons, Lloyd F. (wife, Myralee) of Bismarck, Eric L. (wife, Beth) of Middlebrook and Gilbert O. McIntyre of Middlebrook; three daughters, Mrs. Norman (Nadine) Lambert of Middlebrook, Mrs. Larry (Judy) Gillum of Ironton and Mrs. John (Sharon) Ciaramitaro of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Russell of Farmington; a brother, Robert Fitzgerald of Urbana, IL; other relatives; and a host of friends.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Middlebrook.

The family received friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at White Funeral Home in Ironton.

Funeral services were set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the White Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Nash officiating.

Interment will be in J.L. Fitzgerald Cemetery in Middlebrook.
