STATESBORO -- Allen Trapnell, 81, died Aug. 20 at Bulloch Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Bulloch County. He was a retired farmer and a Primitive Baptist. He was the widower of Lurie Hendrix Trapnell.

SURVIVORS: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Nancy Trapnell of Statesboro, Louann and John Watson of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Marie and Donald Woodward of Statesboro; a brother, Lamar Trapnell of Statesboro; a sister, Joann Adams of Gainesville; and four granddaughters.

FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Sunday at Hodges-Turner-Anderson Funeral Home, burial in Brooklet City Cemetery.
