Sioux Falls- Joyce E. DeNeui, 78, died on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with burial in the Lennox Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Joyce DeNeui was born on June 25, 1932 on a ranch near Chancellor, SD the only child of John and Ethel (Dannen) DeNeui. She received her education in Lennox graduating from Lennox High School. She spent over 40 years working at Norwest Bank in Sioux Falls in the Payroll and Medical Claims Departments. She was a hard worker and in 1977 was named "Women of the Year" by the American Business Women Association.
Joyce was a woman of strong faith and was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Sioux Falls.
Joyce was a kind and loving woman who loved all animals but, especially her Pug, Rocky. She enjoyed taking Sunday afternoon drives to visit with her family and friends.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents. Grateful for having shared her life are many cousins and friends.
