Comilla was a resident of Hudson Hollow for several years, and that is where she lived when her husband died.
Survivors include; one son, Lincoln Abney of Birmingham; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Brown of Alabama City; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Amos Murphy of Albertville and Mrs. Eugenia Brewer of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 24 from the Adams Brown Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Scott Bryant officiating. Burial followed in the Asbury cemetery with Adams Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
