Mrs. Polly Houtz
Mrs. Polly Houtz, one of the oldest and best known residents of this county died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. H. Consider, in East Fairfield, Tuesday evening, aged nearly 92 years.
Mrs. Houtz was born October 22, 1813, in Dauphin county, but had been a resident of Wayne township for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. P. H. Consider, of East fairfield, and four sons; Henry and Simon of Wayne; John, of Meadville, and William, of Boise City, Idaho.
The remains will be taken to the home of her son, Simon Houtz, in Wayne, and the funeral services will be held at Deckards U. B. church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in the U. B. cemetery at that place.
