Big Springs Resident Dies
Funeral servces for Milford J. Anderson, 55, who died at the Akron Hospital Sunday following a heart attack, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Big Springs Baptist church. Rev. Stanley Rendahl officiting. Burial was in the Big Springs cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born June 26, 1906, in Spring Valley township, Union county, South Dakota.
In 22 May 1938 be married Edna Olson who died in January, 1955. Three children were born to this union. In December, 1955, he married Mrs. Luceen Waterbury, to this union two children were born.
Mr. Anderson farmed in the Akron and Alcester vicinities all his life, retiring to Akron last December because of poor health.
Survivors include the widow; five children; five step-children; two sisters, Mrs. Amy Bowman of Sioux City and Mrs. Ella Wiedmark of Akron. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
