Esther L. Love, 75, a lifelong resident of Rushville, passed away at 2:35 AM Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Louisville, KY.
Esther McFarland was born July 28, 1935 in Rushville, IN to Jesse D. and Thelma (Dickerson) McFarland, both deceased. She married Oscar H. Love, Jr on March 5, 1958, he survives.
Esther worked at the Arcade, the Oasis, JustRite, Pioneer and Loma Apartments. She was passionate about her grandkids. She loved taking care of others. The Milky Way was an all time favorite treat of hers. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching the children play in the park. WalMart was her favorite place to shop, especially during her favorite time of the year...Christmas! Esther was a member of the Plum Creek Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, Esther leaves behind her sons, Mark E. & wife Kristina Love of Henderson (Rush County), G. Scott Love of Rushville, daughters, Teresa & husband Bill Craven of Rushville, Penny & husband Eric Pike of Rushville, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Ruth, Patty and Helen.
