Phillip J. Koehler, 54, Verona, died at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday in Aurora Hospital following a two-week illness. Born in Verona, Mr. Koehler was a framer and had spent his entire life in that community. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the Sacred heart Church at Verona.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one son, Ernest, Verona, three daughters, Berniece of the home, Mrs. Rose Havelka, Monett, and Mrs. Caroline Parrigon, Aurora, one brother, Carl, Verona, one sister, Mrs. Frieda Pruente, Pontiac, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
Rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Aurora. Funeral services will be at 9:30 Friday in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Verona, with burial in the Church cemetery.
