Daughter of John C and Margaret Imelda McKinney Griffin, she married Albert Schultz, lived at 409 Seneca St, Oil City, died in Oil City Hospital of liver failure, congestive heart failure, and arteriosclerosis, per death certificate 009855-62, whose informant was her husband. Buried Jan 21 1962.

Mrs. Jessie Croop Shultz, 65, of 409 Seneca St., died at 10:55 am Thursday in Oil City Hospital after an extended illness. Born May 23, 1896 in Sawtown, she was the daughter of Frank and Melda McKinney Griffen.

Educated in Seneca schools, she spent most of her life in the Seneca and Bredinsburg area until 1943, when she moved to Oil City, where she lived since. She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.

She married Lawrence Croop, who died November 11, 1946. On May 23, 1952, she married Albert F. Schultz, who survives, with six daughters, Mrs. Charles (Grace) Hogue of Tippery, Mrs. Wayne (Alice) Keith of Franklin, Mrs. Joseph (Ruth) Botts of Knox, and Mrs. Charles (Luella) Oakes, Mrs. John (Rose) Jadlowski, and Mrs. Ralph (Donna) Kuhls, all of Oil City; three sisters, Mrs. Marion Sheffer of Franklin, Mrs. William Luce of Oil City, and Mrs. Clarence Green of Warren, OH; 26 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
