GYPSUM — Alberta A. Hubele, 89, of Gypsum, passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010. She was born Oct. 3, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan., to Chester and Edith (Harris) Keith.
In 1936, she was married to Eugene Hubele. She lived in the Gypsum area for most of her life, where she was a farm wife and member of Temple Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Hubele, in 1939; sisters, Myrtle Reed, in 1968, Wilma Ellis, in 1969, and Irene Krauss, in 1982; her mother, Edith Keith, in 1972; her father, Chester Keith, in 1977; a brother, Laurence Keith, in 1989; sons, Billy Gene Hubele, in 1990, and Galen Hubele, in 2007; and her husband, Eugene Hubele, in 1993.

Survivors include a son, Adrian Hubele and wife Gale, of Gypsum; five grandchildren, Thad Hubele, Joy Hubele, Stevie Miller, Casey Hubele and Billy Hubele; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Temple Church, near Gypsum, followed by burial in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kaye Pogue Hospice Center, Salina.
