Mr. and Mrs. Clowe celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home in Seneca February 6, 1944, with a family gathering. Their children have been home either on or since that time. There are ten children, 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. There was not a break in the immediate family circle until the death of an infant great grandson, and a grandson, Eugene Clowe, aviator, son of Bernie Clowe who was killed in action over Europe in the early part of World War II.
