Betty Jane Kirshman, 9-year-old Burris School pupil, daughter of Mrs. Mary Kirshman, No. 37 Briar Road, died shortly before noon in Ball Hospital. She had been seriously ill only a few days.
She is survived by the mother, widow of Dr. Charles J. Kirshman, who was killed six years ago in an automobile accident in Minnesota; a sister, Janet; and two grandfathers, C.R. Reeves of Anderson, and J.F. Kirshman of Chicago. Dr. F.E. Kirshman of Muncie, is an uncle.
The body will be removed from the Meeks Mortuary
to the family home at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon. Dr. Claude H. King, pastor of High Street M.E. Church, will conduct funeral services at the residence at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
