She was a talented Morel Mushroom hunter, and looked forward to going off with family to their favorite secret spots. Shirley was involved in a monthly "Bunco Club" for over forty years. Nothing would stop her from playing, be it bad weather or car troubles, by foot or by hoof she would make it to play. Memorials can be made to the Lupus Foundation of America. Survivors include her husband, Bob; and daughters and sons-in- law, Robin and David Kingsley, Mary and Rick Pieper, Penny and Jim Cummins, Vicki Meister and John, all of Davenport, and Sheri and Steve Gardner, of Walcott, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Wilma Jean and Swifty Fuller; and a brother, Billy Ray Davidson, Bettendorf; and brothers-in-law, Fred Kunst and Wimpie Behrens, both of Milan, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, sisters, Katherine and Viola and a great-grandson, Jacob, who died on June 4, 2004, also preceded her in death. May they rest in peace.
