Celina Emeline Johns is the daughter of Jonathan and Celia Jane Browder Johns. Celina married Reverend Harrison Davis Clift, Sr in 1858 Knox County, Tennessee. They had six known children: Martha Milanda Clift, James Obediah Clift, William Harrison Clift, Sealey Cordelia Clift, Culley Clift and Harriet Ruthena Clift.

After Celina died in 1907, Harrison remarried to Mattie May Snead, they had three known children: Harrison Devis Clift, Jr, Joseph Snead Clift and Charles V. Clift.
