Edna was the first child of five born to Horace Milo Huntley and Mary Elizabeth McBride Huntley, November 19, 1888. Edna was born near Montezuma, Kansas in a sod house without a doctor.

She attended Grant. Co. schools except in Old Oklahoma where she went to her grandmother Huntley. Edna was active in church work especially with the youth and young people of the Methodist Church and Sunnyside Church of God near Caldwell, Kansas. They moved to Wichita, Kansas in middle 1920's.

Edna married Charles D. Huffman in her parents home in North Grant Co. by Methodist minister from Caldwell, Kansas on September 27, 1917

Edna had three Sisters and one Brother ~ Florence Viola Huntley (Northcutt), Horatio Milo Ray Huntley, Golda Sarah Icie June Huntley (Taggert) and Izma ELizabeth Huntley (Hughes).
