Sikeston - Funeral service for Juanita Bess Smith will be held Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery here.
Mrs. Smith, 83 years old, died Wednesday at Southeat Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jul. 1905, at Blodgett, the daughter of John Marshall Austin and Molly Elizabeth Hutcheson Austin.
She was married to Samuel Arthur Smith on Oct. 10, 1936 in Blodgett. He preceded her in death Jul. 18, 1962.
Survivors include three daughters, Alice P. Kirkwood, Margaret L. Rea and Wanda L. Horn; one sister, Katherine Jacobs; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one stepson, two brothers, four sisters and one grandchild.
