Alonzo L Faucheux Jr died 6 pm Saturday 19 Nov 1988 at East Jefferson General Hospital, Metairie, Louisiana. He was 86, a native of Remy, Louisiana, and resident of Gramercy, Louisiana. He was retired from Shell Oil Company. He was survived by six daughters, Mrs Grover (Isabel) Harrell, Gramercy, Mrs Raul (Rose) Navarro, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Mrs Donald (Aimee) Boudreaux, Reserve, Louisiana, Mrs Carey (Carol) Dicharry, Gramercy, Mrs Joe (Jimmie) Podufalski, Gramercy, and Mrs Denis (Anne) Haydel, Houston, Texas; three sons, Alonzo L Faucheux III, LaPlace, Louisiana, Gaston "Pat" Faucheux, New Orleans, and Donald Faucheux, Lutcher, Louisiana; a sister, Mrs Florette F Porche, Thibodaux, Louisiana. Also survived by 31 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Menuet Faucheux. Services were Tuesday 22 Nov 1988 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, conducted by the Rev Jim Duffy. Interment was in St Joseph Cemetery, Paulina, Louisiana.
