Wendell Buchholz, 61, of Gonvick, died on Friday, June 20, 1997, at the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital in Bagley.
He was born September 24, 1935, in Gonvick, the son of Herman and Ruth )Odegaard) Buchholz. He lived in the Gonvick area his whole life. He attended Fosston High School, graduating in 1954. He farmed with his parents and his brother most of his life. He was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church in Clearbrook. He loved sports and current events.
Survivors include his two sisters, Ardelle (John) Findlay of Los Angeles, California, and Marian (Lowell) Rasmussen of Fertile; one brother, Arden (Dianne) Buchholz of halstad, Minnesota; 46 cousins; 10 nieces and nephews; one aunt and two uncles.
He was preceded in death by aunts and uncles.
Funeral servcies were Monday, June 23, at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley. Interment was at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Gonvick.
