DIED AT HIS HOME AT CENTRE MILLS
Demise of a Well-known Adams County Farmer from a complication of diseases.
William h. slaybaugh died Monday at his home at Centre Mills of a complication of diseases, aged 71 years.
He was a farmer by occupation and was a son of the late William H. Slaybaugh of Centre Mills and was married about 52 years ago to Miss rebecca Hummer, daughter of Peter Hummer of Biglerville, who survives him, together with six sons and two daughters.
The sons are George F. Slaybaugh, of Hanover, Jacob H, of Atwater Ohio, William P., Reuben W., Harry L, and Albert W Slaybaugh of Centre Mills, Miss Sarah E. Slaybaugh and Mrs. Jacob Funk of Centre Mills are the daughters. Twho brothers and two sisters also survive - Franklin P. Slaybaugh and Howard H. Slaybaugh, Miss Matilda Slaybaugh and Mrs. Eliza Peters, all of Centre Mills.
The funeral took place this morning after services in Mt. Olive U. B. Church, Centre Mills. Interment was made in the Biglerville cemetery, Rev. Burkholder officating.
