Falls Creek - Frank W. Wayland, 93, of Falls Creek, RD 1, died at 4:30 a.m. today in Blose-McGregor Medical Center at Punxsutawney.
Friends will be received at the H Laird Ober Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Rev. Robert Myers will conduct services from the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday and interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
Mr. Wayland was born in Jefferson County, Oct 12, 1881, son of George and Mary
(Deemer) Wayland. He was married to the former Larue Snyder in 1911.
Family survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Senior, of Falls Creek, RD 1, Mrs. Margaret Summerson, of York, Pa. & Mrs. Ann Dingmay, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 16 grandchildren & 30 great-grand-children.
