A Celebration of Russ's Life will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Russ was born March 20, 1917 in Independence, MO the son of William L. and Edith M. (Lloyd) Crull. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Russ was employed with Bendix, retiring in 1983 as a pipe fitter. He was a member of Eden Heights RLDS and had attended the Hill Cumorah Restoration Branch. Russ was also a member of the Pipe Fitters #533 and the American Legion.
Russ was united in marriage to Rozella Anderson Crull for 55 years, she preceded him in death in 1992. He later married Jewell Sarratt, she preceded him in death in 2008. He was also preceded in death by his sisters; Charlotte McKrill, Wilma Ballinger, Mildred Stewart; brothers, Alma, Virgil, Lyle and Lowell Crull.
