Beulah A. Parsley of Lindsay was born on July 1, 1914 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to William T. Bray and Betty E. (Davis) Bray. She married the late Stacy Ware Parsley on October 2nd, 1938 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Beulah departed this life on Saturday, March 7th, 2009 at the age of 94.

Beulah graduated from Lindsay High School in1932. She and her husband, Stacy, began Lindsay Mattress and Upholstry in 1945. They closed the business in 1979. Beulah was a member of the First Christian Church in Lindsay. Among her family members, she was known as the "candy maker".

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Stacy Ware Parsley who passed away on February 27th, 1996 and by her parents, William T. and Betty E. Bray.

Survivors of Mrs. Parsley include her son, Coy D. Parsley and wife Fay of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her daughter, Jan Ledbetter and husband Larry of Woodstock, Georgia, her grandchildren; Larry Ledbetter of Tampa, Florida, Tracy Mead of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Danny Ledbetter of Atlanta, Georgia, Teresa Parsley Edwards of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Donna Woods of Edmond, Oklahoma, and her great-grandchildren; Lauren and Taylor Mead, Noah Mullens, Michael and Jake Ledbetter, Maddie and Spencer Edwards and Olivia and Max Ledbetter.

Funeral services for Mrs. Parsley are set for ten o'clock a.m. on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 at the First Christian Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma with the Rev. Mr.William H. Bentley, Phd officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
