Laura Alpha Moore, 90, of Hugo died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1997, in Antlers.
She was born Oct. 3, 1906, in Gustine, Texas, a daughter of Thomas Henry Wyatt and Eva Ann (Bennett) Wyatt. She had lived in Durant most of her life and moved to Hugo in 1991.
She married W. R. Moore, Nov. 1930. Following his death, she worked as a house parent at Southeastern University 10 years before retiring.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Highland Cemetery in Durant, with Dr. George Tidwell officiating. Services are under direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Billye Faye Smith of Hugo and a granddaughter.
