Joseph Stier died yesterday afternoon at his home, 215 Heir avenue. He was 66 years old and had been ill for about two months. He is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. George Walters of Buffalo, Mrs. Jacob Albrecht and Mrs. Andrew Simmerer of Haverhill Mass., and Misses Frances and Gertrude Stier of this city: one son Joseph of Buffalo; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Rein and Mrs. Anna Wendling of this city and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock and a half hour later at Holy Trinity Church.
Burial will be at St. Joseph's.
