She was born in Worden to Ben and Hattie Gay.
Mary was raised in Worden and spent most of her life there.
She moved to Yreka in 1951, then soon returned to Klamath Falls before moving permanently back to Yreka in 1955.
Survivors include her children, Paul Fraley, Betty Johnson and Cecelia Johnson, all of Yreka, Floyd Fraley, Eugene, Vernon Fraley, Montague, CA, Robert Fraley, Hornbrook, CA, and Barbara Perras, Renton, WA; brothers, Virgil Gay, Richmond, CA, and Calvin Gay, Klamath Falls; sisters, Christina Paugh and Lydia Gentry, both Klamath Falls, and Delma Bates, Medford; 27 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Ben Gay and Ralph Lam, a sister, Ethel Fay and two grandsons, Floyd Fraley Jr. in 1958 and Rick Johnson in 1989.
