Funeral services for Hazel Banks Carlisle, 81 will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan.6, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial, Hwy 11 in Trussville. Dr. Jerry Jenkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
Hazel was born in Vernon, AL and moved to Jefferson County in 1941. She was a dedicated member of Roebuck Church of Christ and recently Cullman Church of Christ. She worked for Thompson Bootery and later as supervisor for McClain Manufacturing.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Edward Carlisle; daughter, Jackie Carlisle Burkett, grandchildren, Brian Douglas Burkett, Katie Nicole Burkett, Christopher Neil Burkett and Adam Tyler Burkett.
