OBITUARY.
Died, at his residence in this county, on Thursday night last, Mr. VOLNEY WHALEY, aged about 40 years. In the death of Mr. W., the community has lost one of its best and most useful members. He was beloved and respected by all who knew him. Mr. Whaley was a pious and consistent disciple of Christ, and in his last moments was enabled to rejoice in full assurance of blissful immortality. He leaves a wife and several children, with a very large circle of relatives and friends, to deplore their loss.
