Mrs. Vicki Lynn Alderton, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born November 16, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of T.H. and Bonnie Lucille (Berrier) White. She departed this life Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 53 years, 11 months and 22 days.
On September 14, 1980, Vicki was united in marriage to Russell Dean Alderton in Kansas City, Missouri.
Vicki was employed as an office manager for John C. Flucke, DDS in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Earlier she had been employed for 18 years at the Rosana Square Dental Group, Overland Park, Kansas. Vicki was a 1975 graduate of Grandview, Missouri High School and a 1979 graduate from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education. She was a funny and caring lady who enjoyed reading, crocheting, scrap booking, shopping and especially spending time with her family. Vicki moved to Harrisonville in 1992.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Alderton on December 25, 2001 and twin grandsons, Colby and Cody Alderton.
She is survived by 5 children, Chris R. Alderton, Greenwood, Missouri, Laura J. Hensley, Forsyth, Missouri, Jennifer L. Burkeen and husband Thomas, Topeka, Kansas, Joshua D. Alderton and wife Melissa and Rusti L. Alderton, all of Harrisonville, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Shane, Alex, Ashley, Heather, Dakota and Brandon; two brothers, Bob White, Gladstone, Missouri, T. H. White Jr., Raymore, Missouri; a sister, Kathie Blair, Raymore, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
