Gladys Nohre 1922-1990

Gladys Judith Nohre, 68, passed away at the Greensview Health Care Center in Bagley on Tuesday, December 25, 1990. Mrs. Nohre was born in Superior, Wisconsin on March 18, 1922 to parents Ole and Jennie Anderson. She attended Washington School and graduated from Superior Central high School. She attended the University of Wisconsin in Superior and Superior Vocational School. She worked for Northwest Aurlines suring the was years as a mechanic. Later she worked for Western Electric Company in St. Paul. She was married to Elmer Nohre on September 4, 1947. They moved to Karlstad, Minnesota and farmed for 29 years. In 1975 moving to the Bagley area and in 1984 moved into the Village of Bagley.
She is survived by one son, Sidney of Circle Pines; one sister, Hazel of Superior; three grandchildren, Ron of Ham Lake, Lenny and Kim of Circle Pines and three great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Nohre was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer in 1984, one brother Verner and one sister Eleanor.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 29, 1990 at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Bagley. Pastor Mark Watson officiated and burial was made in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
