Eldridge Ponder was born to the parents of Samuel and Lavinia Ponder February 27, 1908. He accepted Jesus Chriat at an early age. His former education was in taylor, texas. The family moved from Waco, texas and migrated to Eufaula, Oklahoma in 1917 and he passed away in June 1928. He was a twin brother to Edward Ponder.

He was a very loving, caring and sharing young man and was a hard working and helpful son toward his parents and family members.

His sister Sallie preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Samuel and Lavania Ponder,
and four brothers, Henry Clay, Willie L, Dewey S. Edward Ponder, five sisters, Maggie M, Bertha Lou, Ora LC, Lois Lee, Lucille and Elsie May, all of Eufaula, Oklahoma, other family relatives and friends.
