May O. Collier, 85, of Vidor, Texas, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Vidor Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Woodville, Texas, she lived in Vidor for 52 years, before moving to Buna 10 years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home.

May was preceded in death by her husband Joe William Collier, son Glenn Allen Collier, parents Simon and Bertie Durham, brother Grady Durham, sisters Lavine Butler and Myrtle Breckenridge, grandchildren James Russell Morgan, and Melinda Sue Singleton.

She is survived by her son Vernon "Cooter" Collier and wife Cheyenne of Bridge City, daughters Ola Jo Morgan and husband Emmitt of Buna, and Phyllis Singleton and husband Joe of Vidor, brothers Brady Durham of Colmesneil, and James Durham of Beaumont, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
