May was preceded in death by her husband Joe William Collier, son Glenn Allen Collier, parents Simon and Bertie Durham, brother Grady Durham, sisters Lavine Butler and Myrtle Breckenridge, grandchildren James Russell Morgan, and Melinda Sue Singleton.
She is survived by her son Vernon "Cooter" Collier and wife Cheyenne of Bridge City, daughters Ola Jo Morgan and husband Emmitt of Buna, and Phyllis Singleton and husband Joe of Vidor, brothers Brady Durham of Colmesneil, and James Durham of Beaumont, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
