STURGIS - Margaret F. Fernen, 88, Sturgis, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Sturgis Community Long Term Care Center.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer Fernen, Sturgis; two sons, Lauren "Larry" Fernen, Sturgis, and Francis "Jim" Fernen, Rapid City; one daughter, Marjorie "Ilene" Shelhourn, Valentine, Neb.; one sister, Elwanda Shive, Zepher Hills, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, and one hour before services, which will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the funeral home, with Chaplain Moe Greiner and Chaplain Paul Lupkes officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Valentine Cemetery in Valentine.
