James S. Ball. 50, passed away Monday morning at 3:25 o'clock, following a long illness.
Born in Alabama, Mr. Ball had lived in Brownsboro for the last 20 years. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; five brothers, Tom and Bob of Alto, Arthur of Brownsboro, John of Murchison and Ab of Quanah, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Cannon of Big Spring, Mrs. Vinnie Thomalson of Noonday, Texas and Mrs. Annie Alvie of Fort Worth.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the First Methodist Church in Brownsboro, with the Rev. Mouzon Fletcher and Rev. Owens officiating.
Burial was in the Red Hill Cemetery. Hassell-Foster Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Charlie Holiman, A.D. Holiman, Reese Holiman, Clark Boles, P.E. Hines and Bud Davis.
