Beula S. Strong, Native of Alpine, Dies in Salt Lake
Mrs. Beula S. Strong, 41, Salt Lake City, died Jan. 5, 1967, at 8:15 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness. She was born May 6, 1925, in Alpine, a daughter of Claude C. and Mildred Hall Strong. She married Jonathan H. Strong on July 18, 1947, in Lehi. She was a member of the Cottonwood Sixth Ward of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her husband, son, Rodney J., Holladay; mother, stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Millen Kirkham, American Fork; brothers, sisters, Lloyd, Ray E., Mrs. Nona S. Wimmer, all American Fork; Marion L., Mrs. Lillian Watts, Mrs. Loy Dece Jones, all Salt Lake City; Dr. Douglas C., Chicago, Illinois.
Funeral services were held Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. in the Cottonwood Ward chapel. Burial took place in the Alpine Cemetery.
