Nelle K. Hatcher, 69, of White Hall and formerly of Manchester, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
She was born Nov. 8, 1930, in Sarcoxie, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Ethel Tapscott Baptist. She married Rex Fisher and he preceded her in death. She later married Archie Hatcher on July 11, 1960, in Jacksonville, and he survives in Carrollton.
She is also survived by three sons, Donald Fisher and David (wife, Alma) Fisher, both of Galesburg and Ronald Hatcher of White Hall; two daughters, Carolyn (husband, Jeff) Hepworth of Jacksonville and Sarah (husband, John R.) McKinney of White Hall; one grandchild; five step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brother, Lee Baptist of Lebanon, Mo., Ross Baptist of West Cliff, Colo., and Dale Baptist of Rock City; and one sister, Ina Coma of Long Lane, Mo. She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Mrs. Hatcher attended school in Jacksonville and was a member of the Manchester Baptist Church.
Funeral services are pending at the Mackey-Daws Funeral Home in Roodhouse.
