Funeral services were held at 3 pm Thursday at Compton's Chapel with the Rev. Clyde S. Sherman officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.
Survivors: Three sisters, Mrs. Joe McFall of Waco; Mrs. Annie Hatfield of Waco, and Mrs. J.E. Carpenter of China Spring; one nephew, Joe S. McFall of Houston, and two nieces, Mrs. L. C. Blatton of Tucson, AZ, and Miss Mary Ruth McFall of Waco.
Born in China Spring, she had been teaching school for the past 24 years. She had lived in Houston since 1945. Miss Mary was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
Pallbearers: Tom Mabrey, Dana Browder, Alva D. Mabrey, Vic. T. Newman, Lavton Garner and Cecil Granger.
