MRS. CLAUDE STRIBLING, AGED 28, DIES HERE


Young Mother of Four Children Had Been Ill Several Weeks.


Mrs. Claude Stribling, 28 years old, of 616 West Gardner street, died in a local hospital last night after an illness of several weeks. She had been in the hospital a month, suffering with tuberculosis of the bone.


Mrs. Stribling was a native of Adair county, having been born on the Henley ranch in the northwest part of the county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Norton. She lived with her father in Oklahoma a short time during girlhood but has lived in Kirksville for the past 12 or 13 years.


Surviving are her parents, T.H. Norton, Kirksville, and Mrs. Evie Estil, Downing, Mo.; her husband and four children, Kenneth, Claudine, Bobby and Nancy Marie.


Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Davis & Wilson Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. C.A. Finch.
