Mrs. Anna E. Keidel, former Traer and Geneseo resident, died at her home in Dysart Saturday after a serious illness of about ten days. Pneumonia, which developed two days before her passing, was the immediate cause of her death. Nine years ago, Mrs. Keidel suffered a paralytic stroke, which made her an invalid several months. While she never completely recovered, she was able to give some assistance in maintaining her household and enjoyed reasonably good health until recently. Mrs. Keidel, who was Anna E. She was married in that state to Albert E Keidel November 30, 1876. After three years in Pennsylvania the couple came to Iowa and located at West Irving In the spring of 1880, they moved to a farm near Traer where they lived nearly twenty-five years. They operated one of the Theodore F. Clark farms in Geneseo township many years Mr. Keidel died in October 1919. Mrs. Keidel remained on the farm in Geneseo until thirteen years ago when she retired in Dysart.

The decedent united with the Evangelical Lutheran church at the age of 14. After the family located in the Traer community, she affiliated with the Congregational church, and retained her membership here until her death. Mrs. Keidel was greatly interested in her home and family and endeavored to make it a happy place for her loved ones. Surviving are five sons— Ira C. of St Louis, Missouri; Charles A., John H., Arthur E. and Herman C., all of Dysart.
