GASTON - Funeral services for Marie Allmond Taylor, 81, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006, at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Jim Crowell. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Taylor, widow of Reverend Mittry Taylor, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006. Born in Portal, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Mose and Ethie Allmond. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church.
