MEADOW, Millard County - Funeral services for Howard N. Barkdull, 83, Meadow, who died Wednesday in a Provo Nursing home, will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Meadow Ward Chapel. He was the father of Mrs John N. Jackson of Mapleton.

Mr. Barkdull was born Nov. 18, 1888, in Holden, Millard County, to Jonathan Lawrence and Ann Eliza Bond Barkdull. He married Minerva Stringham on Aug. 18, 1915, in Fillmore and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. She died on July 21, 1941.

Survivors include one son and five daughters, Joseph L. Barkdull, Meadow; Mrs. John N. (Julie) Jackson, Mapleton; Mrs. Del V (Leola) Bryant, Cedar City; Mrs. J. Stanley (Louie) Duncan, Las Vegas; Mrs. Jay A. (Helen) Stevens, Holden; Mrs. W. Clem (Lora) Utley, Fillmore; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Flora) Hanlan, Salt Lake City.

Friends may call Saturday at the ward Relief Society room from 1:30 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Meadow Cemetery.
