Graveside services for Dixie Charline Allbritton Sharp, 86, of Lufkin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the Berry Cemetery, with Jimmy Runnels officiating.
Mrs. Sharp was born February 8, 1927 in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of the late Charlcie Emma (Hales) and J. D. Allbritton. She passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in a local hospice facility.
Mrs. Sharp was a retired clerk from the Ft. Worth Star Telegram. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Mary Ann Allbritton of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and R. J. Free of Lufkin, Dorothy Hearne of Corrigan, Betty Craig, Joyce and Jimmy Crain, and Patricia Williams, all of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her husband Warren Jack Sharp in 2012; and her brother, Jerry Allbritton.
