Mack was born May 22, 1916 in Chacon, New Mexico to David and Margarita Allen and passed on October 9, 2010. His wife, Winnie Allen, of 66 years, survives him.

After serving in the US Army from 1941-45, he was discharged from service at Beale AFB. While working for Pacific Truck Service out of Sacramento, he was offered and took the position to manage the truck substation in Colusa. He later owned and operated Colusa Truck Service until his retirement.

Mack and Winnie enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing with their friends and family. They traveled extensively in their campers, trailers, and later RV's throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico with children and grandchildren. In the winter months, they headed to Arizona with the snowbirds.

He leaves behind his children: Carol Pearson (Steve), Jeanie Allen Kessinger (Robert), and Jeffrey Allen. Grandchildren: Lynne Locvich (Loyd), Troy Allen Welker (Sallie), Cindy Welker Greig (Chris), Jennie Makekau (Howard) and Steven Allen (Cameron). Great grandchildren: Lauryn, Logan, Kyle, Emma, Kaitlyn and Makena.

Graveside services will be held at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery, Redding, CA on Friday, October 29, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross of Northeastern California, P.O.
