He was born February 1st, 1827 in Uckermarck, Germany and came to America and this area 55 years ago. He was married to Ernstine Glasow for 53 years, by whom he is survived with the following children; Charles of Adell; Theodore, Mrs. Gustave Suhrke and August of Town Rhine; Mrs. Otto Suhrke and Mrs. Herman Hoffmann of Town Plymouth, also 12 grandchildren. The burial is Saturday in the cemetery of the Evangelical Church in Town Rhine with Pastor Zeh officiating.
