Frances Ola Nugent Carraway, 76, of Hopewell passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, in the John Randolph Medical Center.

Mrs. Carraway was preceded in death by her husband, James Oscar Carraway Sr.; parents, Edward E. and Charlotte Brock Nugent; and brother, Alvin M. Nugent.

Mrs. Carraway was a certified nursing assistant at the John Randolph Nursing Home and a member of Calvary Love Ministries.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Carraway Mager and husband, Dave; three sons, James "Butch" Carraway Jr. and wife, Elisa, Thomas F. Carraway, Edward B. Carraway and wife, Frances; three grandchildren, James O. Tripp Carraway III, Julia Carraway Newsome and husband, Kenny, and Kendall A. Carraway; brother, Harry L. Nugent and wife, Helen; and sister, Mollie Lee Archer.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at the Nelsen Funeral Home-Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Ave. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 200, at Calvary's Love Ministries with the Rev. Rocky Sherain officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Super Kids Ministries, 2906 Princess Ann St., Hopewell, VA 23860.
