All his children have been linked to their parents memorials except for daughter, Rosa Kunz born April 1889, death unknown. Died after 1900, before father per his 1932 obituary.

William Kunz, prominent citizen of Fredericksburg died at his residence, September 22, at 11:30 P.M. at the age of 78 years, 7 months, and 15 days.
Deceased was born in Germany, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kunz. When Mr. Kunz was five weeks old, the family left their home in Germany for Texas, they being among the first colonist who came to Fredericksburg.
In 1879 he united in marriage with Miss Anna Meckel who preceded him in death several years later. This union was blessed with six children. On September 11, 1893 he united in marriage with Miss Marie Pehl. To them six children were born, four daughters and two sons. Of his twelve children, five, three daughters and two sons preceded him in death.
Surviving him are his widow, the following named children: Mrs. Willie Lott, Mrs. Elmon Stewart, Mrs. Edwin Jung, Mrs. P. Braun, Mrs. Ed Fritz, Mrs. Ernst Lochte, and Miss Margaret Kunz. Other survivors are 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock by Father Heckmann of St. Mary's Church after which interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
