Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Moffitt church for Miss Lizzie Parish, 53, who died Friday morning at her residence on Route 6, Lufkin. Rev. Dock Black, Rev. N. B. Athey and Rev. James Ivy officiated. Interment was in the Moffitt cemetery.
The Gipson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Miss Parish was born January 6, 1897 in Winniewood, Okla., but resided in Angelina County practically all her life. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Dora Parish; three brothers, Jeff Parish, Roy Parish and Jesse Parish; one sister, Mrs. Vera Hambrick.
